Don't fall prey to all this crap about taking 3 months off. I'm sooooooooooooo tired of hearing it. It's great if you can afford it. If you can't, you'll be fine if you tell yourself you'll be fine. I'm not even sure it's great if you can afford it, cuz there is such a thing as pure fatigue. Just don't get sucked in to the zillions of people who will tell you - "You'll fail if you don't take time off!" It's simply not true. I can't tell you how many people told me that. Some out of love, and others out of their own desperation and fear. I worked full time in a law firm (granted w/significant downtime (shhh don't tell!) so I could sneak study time) and knew my weak spots and I passed the CA July 2009 bar on the first try. I studied with a focused vengeance regardless of the hours. [Noted by everyone but me, I might add ;-)] 2 hours one day 10 the next. But consistency was my strength. And I ran towards, rather than away from, the topics that eluded me. Just work your weaknesses, BE CONSISTENT and block out the noise. They key is targeted, consistent study. Regular review of multi-states and review of those answers so they become second nature and consistent review of PTs and outlines. I didn't write a lot in my prep, I review and reveiw and review my outlines. DO WHAT WORKS FOR YOU!!!! Expect serious paranoia to possibly set in about 1-3 weeks out and even in the midst of it be consistent. My trick was always to say okay, I'm freakin' out so I'll just spend 10 minutes on "XYZ" and it always led to hours of study and freak out was temporarily at bay. Hopefully, with this much time you will NOT freak out. STAY POSITIVE! AND BEST OF LUCK!!
