Being contacted by CA Moral Fitness Comm

I will be going out of town for about a month. If the CA MFC processors need anything from us, do they contact by email or regular mail? I just don't want to get into a situation where they say in a regular letter please respond in fifteen days or your application will be terminated. If it's by email, then no big deal.

Prayerful Passed!

To God be all the Glory! I just learned that I passed the North Carolina bar exam! I will post my pass letter in a separate post for those interested. But for now, I just want to take a moment to magnify His mighty name and to tell the world that GOD IS REAL and that HE cares for you.

Lord Jesus, I do not even know where to begin. Thank You Jesus for giving me the victory. When the world turned it's back on me and told me to give up, you gave me the will and the strength to persevere.

After failing the February bar exam, I felt defeated. Many talked about me and laughed when they heard that I had failed the exam. Some of my "friends" disappeared from my life. I felt defeated and alone. I felt like my life was over. Then You sent the angels to remind me of Your love for me.

Like never before, I was moved by Your unconditional love for me. During these trying times, many tried to discourage me from leaning on you and trusting your word. But I knew better. I knew that it was You who had helped me carry every cross and brought me every victory.

And so today, Lord, on this victorious day, I tearfully thank You for keeping Your word. I wish everyone could feel what I feel now. Thank you infant baby Jesus of Prague. Thank you Sacred Heart of Jesus. Thank you Saint Joseph of Cupertino. Thank you angels. Thank you, Granny. (I know that you are in heaven watching over me. I wish you were still here, but I know you are with me. Je t'adore!) Thank you, Father. Thank you, Lord.

Friends, trust in the Lord for He is good. He will NEVER leave you or forsake you.

Moral Fitness

I am a former business owner. I have no bad background. I am about to file for Moral Character/Fitness. Can the bar committee use information on me that it has found from google?

A few people have written nasty things about me like I ripped them off, etc., but I was never sued or anything like that.

Would this be used against me if the bar committee in CA google searches me?

Question about Virginia bar

I took the Virginia bar in July. I think I did OK. None of the questions were completely out of left field. But I don't know if I hit all the issues. VA has a reputation of being a very hard bar. How tough do they grade the essays? Is it still possible to pass if you don't hit all the issues on the essays?

C & F---Time Allocation

On the CA moral fitness app, they ask for a time accounting for everything that isn't covered by a job. They also ask you to list every job you have held for less than 6 months. I had a few internships. Do they also want the supervisors name, address, and phone number? There doesn't seem to be a place on the form for that. Or do they just want to know what you were doing?

Thanks!

PRAISE THE LORD...My PASS letter!

Before I post my letter, let me remind everyone that THE DEVIL IS A LIAR! God wants you to be victorious and happy. Hang in there and never stop believing. I know that many of you are still awaiting your results. As promised, I will continue to pray the daily prayer until we all have our PASSING results. Maybe you feel like it's not worth continuing to pray because you are convinced that you failed. Friends, God can move mountains. I am proof of what God can do. Please keep praying. There were days when I didn't feel like saying the prayer out loud. On those days, I just read it in my mind because I lacked the strength to recite it. There were days when all I could do was look at it as the tears rolled down my face and I thought about all of what I had been through. I believe that God saw my faith, however faint, and He removed the mountain. Thank you, Father!

Here is my PASS letter; may all those who remain prayerful receive a similar letter soon...

Congratulations! I am happy to inform you that you have passed the July 2010 North Carolina Bar Examination.

According to our records, you now have satisfied all the requirements in the Board's rules. Unless some change in your status arises between now and the time when licenses are issued, your license will be forwarded to you at the above address in the near future.

Please bear in mind that all requirements of character and fitness established by the Board of law Examiners remain in effect during this interim period, as does your continuing obligation to amend your application when necessary or appropriate. Once licensed, you are subject to the jurisdiction of the State Bar of North Carolina with respect to disciplinary matters.

Once you receive your license, you will need to be sworn in as an attorney and officer of the court before you can commence the practice of law. Relevant requirements are set out in Chapter 84 of the North Carolina General Statutes. Many bar associations hold special swearing-in ceremonies for this purpose. At other times, judges are delighted to welcome new attorneys by swearing them in at the beginning of court sessions. We encourage you to contact your local bar or Clerk of Superior Court for further information.

Again, congratulations! We look forward to your admission as a member of the North Carolina Bar!
------------------------------

FRIENDS, I SINCERELY HOPE THAT MY VICTORY TODAY ENCOURAGES YOU TO CONTINUE TO TRUST IN HIM. GOD NEVER LIES!

To God be all the Glory!

Going by precedents, the results should be mailed out today. I wish IL did not have to be October. I wonder why the bar examiners seem so rigid? They do not have to wait for a particular time period, once they are through with grading they should release the results.

I am getting anxious.
